Ashok Cement Store

Our shop, Ashok Cement Store, is at Scf-20 in Phase-3B2. We are situated right near the ICICI Bank, which makes it a landmark for people trying to find us. We have been in this part of town for a good while, selling bags of cement to anyone who walks in. It is a fairly small space, so we have to keep the bags stacked high to fit everything. The air in here always smells a bit like lime and dust, but you stop noticing it after a few minutes. We get a lot of people who are just doing small repairs at home, or sometimes contractors who need a few extra bags to finish a job. Since we are in Phase-3B2, there is always some construction or renovation happening nearby. I usually spend my time checking the stock and talking to the drivers who bring the supplies. It is not a glamorous job, and my clothes are usually covered in white marks by the time I go home. We keep things pretty simple here. There are no fancy displays or sales talk. We just tell people what we have in stock and help them get it into their vehicles. The bank next door brings in a lot of foot traffic, so we see many different people every day. It is a quiet, regular routine that we have grown to like. We just stack the bags and sell them one by one.
