Hari Om Tiles & Pavers

We are based out in Village Mubarakpur, which is part of the Dera Bassi area. Our yard is near Ramgarh Road. It’s a bit more rural out here compared to the big city, which I like. There’s more space for the tiles and pavers we make. We have piles of blocks sitting out in the sun. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time outside, even when the sun is beating down. The road can get a bit muddy after it rains, being in the village and all, but we don’t let that stop us. Most people who come here are from the nearby farms or people building new houses in the taluka. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just show them what’s ready and what needs a few more days to set. The sound of the mixer is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. I usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and stacking. We’ve been at this location for some time, and the locals know us by name. We don't use fancy computers or anything like that for the most part. Just a ledger and some common sense. It's a quiet life mostly, just focused on the work at hand. We see the seasons change across the fields while we work. It's not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and we feel good when a load goes out to a new home.
