You’ll find Handa Iron Store on Patiala Road in Rajpura. We are located near the Hdfc Bank, which is a big help when people are trying to find the exact spot. It’s a busy road, so there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks and buses going past. We sell iron goods, so the place is full of heavy metal rods, sheets, and various bits of hardware. It’s not the cleanest environment—there’s usually a bit of rust dust on the floor and everything smells like metal—but that’s just the nature of an iron store. We don't have a polished sales floor. It’s more of a warehouse where you come in and tell us what you need for your construction or repair work. We’ve been on Patiala Road for quite some time, so we’ve seen the town change quite a bit around us. We just keep doing what we do, which is stacking the iron and helping people load it onto their carts or trucks. It’s hard work because everything is so heavy, but we’re used to it by now. We don't use any fancy language or try to talk anyone into buying more than they need. We just provide what’s asked for and try to keep the inventory sorted out. It’s a basic, honest shop where we just deal with the realities of handling hard materials every single day until we close up for the night.
