Deepjyot Kaur

This is actually my home, House No-1032 in Sector-69, SAS Nagar. I have been teaching from here for quite some time now. Deepjyot Kaur is just my name, and this is where I work with students who need a bit of extra help with their schoolwork. Since it is a house in Mohali, it feels a lot more relaxed than those big centers in the commercial markets. I have a dedicated room set up with some chairs and a table where the kids sit. Many of them come from right here in the neighborhood, but I also have some who travel over from Chandigarh. Sector-69 is a nice, quiet residential area for the most part, which helps the kids stay focused when they are here. I don't have a big staff or a receptionist. If the doorbell rings, it’s usually a student or a parent. I like it this way because I can really get to know the people I am helping. The house is easy to find if you follow the numbers on the street. It’s not a corporate office, just a home where learning happens every afternoon and evening. My neighbors are used to seeing the students coming and going by now. It’s a very personal way of doing things, and it has worked out well over the years. I just keep things simple and focus on the teaching part without any of the fancy distractions you see at the bigger academies.
