We are set up right on the Zirakpur Kalka Highway. If you look across from the Silky Hotel, you will see us. We’ve been here for a good while, serving people in Zirakpur and also going over to Chandigarh quite often. The shop is usually full of flowers, which makes it smell better than most places on the highway. It’s a busy road, so there’s always the sound of trucks and cars going by. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle plants and arrangements. Some days the floor is covered in leaves and stems because we’re working on a big order. We try to keep things organized, but nature is a bit messy. We don't have a fancy website or a huge marketing budget. Most people just see the flowers when they drive past or they’ve heard about us from someone in the neighborhood. We like it that way. It’s more personal. We spend a lot of time in the back where the cold storage is. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy it. The highway location is great for deliveries. We can get to most places fairly quickly. It’s just a simple shop where we do our best with what we have. We’ve been part of the local scene for years now and we know most of the regulars by name.
