Ram Khelawan Singh P G College is situated in its own building right here in Mirzapur. It’s a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We offer various post-graduate courses, and the place is usually buzzing with young adults heading to their next seminar or sitting on the steps talking. The hallways are long and can be a bit dark, but the classrooms are big enough for everyone. We have a staff room where the professors gather to drink tea and discuss the day’s lessons. It’s not a high-tech campus with glass walls; it’s a traditional college that feels very much like a part of Mirzapur. The administrative office is always full of stacks of paper and ledgers because we still do a lot of things by hand. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with flashy marketing. Most of our students come here because it’s a local option for continuing their education after their first degree. We deal with the usual college stuff like organizing exam halls and making sure the library books are returned. It’s a lot of work to keep the place running, especially when the weather is bad or during the peak admission season. We just try to provide a steady environment where people can get their work done. It’s an unpretentious place, and we are fine with that. It’s just how we operate here in the city.
