Uma Enterprises

Our place, Uma Enterprises, sits out in Daran Village. We are in the Kadi Taluka area, specifically near the road that goes between Kadi and Kalyanpura. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, away from all that big city noise. We’ve been operating from here for a few years now. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We deal with various trade items and general supplies for the local area. It’s not a high-tech place by any means. We have a warehouse that gets pretty hot in the summer, but we make do with a few fans. The road nearby sees a lot of tractors and local transport passing by. We know most of our neighbors. Running a business in a village like Daran has its own set of challenges, like when the power goes out or the rains make the roads muddy and hard to drive on. But we like the pace here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the deliveries happen on time. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up, especially during the harvest season when things get extra busy. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back checking inventory or loading up. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We appreciate the people who have stuck with us. There’s not much more to it than that. Just us working every day.
