Kaushik Road Tech

We are based at 148 in GIDC Phase-2, Dediyasan. If you know the area, it is all factories and warehouses, so it’s not exactly a scenic spot. We focus on road technology, which basically means we spend our time around big paving machines and piles of material. Our office here is pretty basic because we are almost always out on a project site somewhere else. The yard is usually full of equipment that needs some kind of maintenance. It is a hot and dusty job, especially during the summer months when the sun is reflecting off the machinery. We started out small and have just kept grinding away year after year. There is no corporate ladder here; we all just pitch in where needed. Sometimes we are up all night working on a stretch of road so it’s ready by morning. It’s exhausting, but that’s the nature of the business. The office is mostly for keeping the logbooks and having a place to sit when it rains. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. People know who we are because they see our trucks and equipment out on the roads. We just focus on getting the job done right and moving on to the next one. It is a simple life of hard work in the GIDC, and we are quite content with that.
