We’ve been out here in Babaji Pura Village for quite some time now. The shed at Mascot Industrial Park is usually humming with the sound of the injection molding machines getting put together. It gets pretty hot during the summer months in Mehsana, but the work doesn't stop. Most of us here have spent years looking at these same steel frames and hydraulic lines. It is a long drive down the Kadi-Detroj Road every morning, but you get used to the route after a few weeks. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to sit and handle the paperwork while the real work happens out on the floor. People often drop by to see how the assembly is going, and we usually have grease on our hands when they arrive. It’s just how things are at a machinery place like this. We spend a lot of time checking the alignments and making sure the parts fit right. Sometimes the shipments are late, and the whole schedule gets pushed, but that’s part of the trade. We drink a lot of tea while talking about the next batch of orders. It is a solid group of guys working here, and most of us live nearby. We don’t go for big speeches about what we do. We just come in, do the technical stuff, and head home when the sun starts going down over the fields behind the park.
