Jay Siddheshwari Marketing

Our place, Jay Siddheshwari Marketing, is located in the B Barg Market Yard. It’s right near the Bumbaria Nara. If you know the area, you know it’s where all the heavy lifting happens. We’re mostly involved in the distribution side of things. We handle various goods that come through the yard. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to drivers. The morning starts really early here, often before the sun is even up, because that’s when the trucks start rolling in. It gets loud with all the engines and people shouting orders. We have a small desk tucked away in the corner of the warehouse where we keep our logs. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a working market, so that’s expected. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find our way around the maze of stalls. Some days are better than others. When the market is down, we just drink tea and talk about the old days. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a small part of the supply chain making sure things move from one point to another. The traffic near the Nara can be a headache in the afternoons. We usually try to wrap up our main work before the rush starts. It's a tough job sometimes, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills for the families here.
