Swastic Offset

Swastic Offset is just down the way at Plot No 120 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to a lot of other workshops and factories. Our daily routine is mostly about getting the presses started early and keeping them running until the work is done. It is a lot of repetitive motion, watching the paper fly through the machines. We spend a good chunk of our time loading up heavy reams of paper and mixing inks to get the colors just right. The light in the workshop isn't the best, but we have some bright lamps over the inspection tables. It’s not a fancy place to work, but it serves our needs. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anything like that. Usually, the owner or one of the senior printers will talk to anyone who walks in. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we just get on with the job. Sometimes we have to stay late if a machine breaks down or if a deadline is tight. The air is always a bit heavy with the scent of chemicals and paper dust. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea breaks, which are pretty much the only time we sit down. It is a busy life in the industrial estate, but we are used to the pace by now.
