Harsh Chemicals

You can find us at 377 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. We’ve been here at Harsh Chemicals for quite some time now, just doing our thing in this part of the estate. It’s a practical location for what we do because we need the space for the drums and the mixing equipment. The floor is concrete and it’s got some stains from over the years, but that is to be expected in a chemical plant. We spend most of our hours checking temperatures and making sure the ratios are correct. It’s a lot of standing around and watching gauges, then a lot of heavy lifting when it's time to load the trucks. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell to it, but we don't even notice it anymore. We are just a group of people trying to get the work done without any fuss. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. Most of our day is spent in the middle of the factory floor rather than sitting in an office. When the whistle blows for lunch, we just sit outside for a bit of air before getting back to it. It’s steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. Dediyasan is a good place for a business like ours because we are surrounded by other people who are also just trying to make things and provide for their families.
