We operate out of Magaraj Singh Niwas, which is a building tucked into Konark Colony just off Roorkee Road. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main highway, which is nice when we’re trying to get through a pile of export documents. The office is basically a few rooms where we handle all the coordination for our shipping. We’ve got some storage space nearby, but most of the brainwork happens right here at number 83. It’s a family-run sort of feel, even though we’re dealing with international stuff. The walls are lined with calendars and maps, mostly to keep track of where everything is supposed to be going. Meerut can get really dusty, especially with all the construction that seems to happen on Roorkee Road, so we’re always wiping down the desks. We don’t have a big sign or anything like that; people usually find us because they’ve been working with us for years. It’s about getting the boxes packed right and making sure the paperwork doesn't have any mistakes that would hold things up at the port. Some days are slow, just waiting for emails to come through, and other days are a total scramble to meet a deadline. We just take it as it comes. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy, just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the long afternoons. It’s not glamorous work, but we like the independence of running our own export business from here.
