U S Dollar Store

Our shop is called U S Dollar Store, though we are located on Sardhana Road in Kanker Khera, Meerut. We are situated near the church, which is a big landmark around here. The name sounds a bit different, but we mostly sell everyday items that people in the neighborhood need. I have a lot of plastic household goods, like buckets, mugs, and storage containers, stacked up near the entrance. Inside, there are aisles with stationery, toys for kids, and basic kitchen tools. It’s a bit more organized than a traditional kirana store, but it still has that local feel where you can talk to me directly. I keep the windows clean so people can see the new items I get in every week. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it swept, though people bring in a lot of dirt from the road. Meerut can get quite dusty, especially on Sardhana Road with all the traffic. I have a small counter near the door where I sit with my ledger and a glass of tea. I don't really have a big staff, just a boy who helps move the heavier boxes. People from the church often stop in on Sundays after the service to buy small gifts or things for their homes. I try to keep the prices fair so they keep coming back. It’s a good location and I enjoy seeing the familiar faces every day. There’s always something to do, whether it’s pricing new stock or just rearranging the shelves.
