Nandani

Nandani is our business located in Nand Plaza on Garh Road in Meerut. We are situated right opposite Vaishali Colony, which is a big residential area. Having the colony right there means we see a lot of the same people every week. Garh Road is one of those main arteries in Meerut that never seems to stop. There is always a tractor, a car, or a bike going past. Our spot in Nand Plaza is easy to get to once you are on the main road. We keep things very basic here. There is no corporate office behind us telling us what to do. It is just a local business where we manage everything ourselves. We open up early and stay until the evening. The plaza itself has other shops, so there is a bit of a community feel among the owners. We talk about the weather or the road repairs over tea while we wait for the first customers. Inside our place, we just focus on the work at hand. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the customers get what they came for without any fuss. The building is a standard plaza structure, nothing too fancy, but it works for us. Living and working in Meerut means you get used to the noise and the pace of Garh Road pretty quickly. We spend quite a bit of time just sweeping the front step to keep the dust away.
