We've been here at Jaharveer Baba Ka Mandir for quite some time now. People know us near the Katai Mill on Delhi Road. It’s a busy spot in Meerut, especially being so close to the godam in Partapur. My name is Geeta Devi Mahant and this is where I spend most of my days. The temple is a place where folks come when they need a bit of peace or maybe just to talk. It's not fancy. We just keep things running. Sometimes the road gets noisy with all the traffic heading towards Delhi, but once you step inside, it’s different. I’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up, more trucks passing by. But the mandir stays the same. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is clean and ready for whoever walks through the door. If you’re passing through Partapur and see the mill, you’re basically right there. We don't really do advertisements or big flyers. Word of mouth usually brings people here. It’s just honest work. Life in Meerut moves fast these days, but we try to keep a steady pace here. I handle the daily bits and pieces. Nothing too complicated. It’s just about being present for the community. Most regulars know exactly where to find us near the Delhi Road stretch. It's just a simple life here by the road.
