Tinku Musical Group

You can find us over at B-61 in Ganga Plaza, right on Begum Bridge Road in Meerut. It’s a busy place, especially with Om Plaza right across from us. Tinku Musical Group has been here for years, and the shop is usually filled with the sound of someone testing a keyboard or checking a microphone. We aren't a high-end studio with soundproofing; we’re just a local group with a lot of gear crammed into a small space. Begum Bridge Road is always buzzing with people and rickshaws, so there’s never a quiet moment. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading instruments from the back of the van. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the cables aren't tangled, which they usually are. The plaza itself is a bit of a maze, but everyone knows where we are because of the occasional drum beat coming from our door. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You usually just walk in and find one of us fixing a speaker or writing down a date for a local function. We just like music and the way it brings people together at parties and weddings around Meerut. It’s a noisy, busy, and sometimes messy way to make a living, but we wouldn’t have it any other way here at Ganga Plaza. We’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of this street, for better or worse.
