Bhairavi Jagran Party

We are Bhairavi Jagran Party, based out of Shastri Nagar in Meerut. You can find us at K-2/2041, which is quite close to the Shiv Mandir. Being near the temple feels right for what we do. We organize jagrans and chowkis, mostly for families in and around Meerut. It’s not a business in the way people usually think of one. For us, it’s about the music and the gathering of people for a night of singing and prayer. Our office is just a small room where we keep the instruments like the dholak and the harmonium. Sometimes we practice there, and the neighbors probably hear us more than they’d like. We don't have a big fancy website or a sales team. Most of the time, people just hear about us from someone else who saw us perform at a relative's house. We travel around in a small van with all our gear packed in the back. It’s hard work staying up all night, and the winter nights in Meerut can be really cold when we are performing outside. But we’ve been doing this for years now. We know the songs by heart and we know how to get the crowd involved. It’s a simple life, focused on the community and our traditions. We aren't looking to be famous; we just want to keep doing our work in Shastri Nagar and beyond.
