Techno Planet

Techno Planet is down in the basement of Old Sai Plaza. It’s on Sardhana Road in Kanker Khera. Being in a basement means it stays relatively cool even when the Meerut summer is hitting hard. You have to walk down the stairs at the side of the plaza to find us. It’s not a huge space but we’ve organized it to fit the computers and the workbenches. The lighting has to be on all day since there aren't any windows. It gives the place a specific kind of vibe, like a workshop. We deal with a lot of tech stuff here. People bring in things or come to learn. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes because we have parts and wires around. We don't mind the mess as long as we can find what we need. The building itself is older, so the walls have some marks on them. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit. It’s a local spot where people from Kanker Khera stop by. We aren't trying to look like a big tech firm from the city. We are just a bunch of people working in a basement plaza. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator. It’s just part of life on Sardhana Road. Most people find us through word of mouth. It's a busy little corner of Meerut. We have some old stools and a few toolboxes lying around. It’s a working space for people who want to learn practical skills.
