R. S Computer Network

You can find R. S Computer Network over in the Labour Office Compound near Begum Bridge. It’s a busy part of town, and the compound itself always has people coming and going for one reason or another. Our workspace is filled with cables, old monitors, and various bits of networking hardware. We do a lot of the grunt work that keeps internet connections running in the local offices and homes. It involves climbing under desks, crimping wires, and trying to figure out why a router isn't behaving. It’s not the kind of tech work you see in movies; it’s dusty and involves a lot of manual labor. Begum Bridge is a bit of a chaotic area, so getting parts delivered can be a headache sometimes with the traffic. We’ve been here long enough that we know the shortcuts to take. We deal with a lot of small businesses who just want their computers to work without any fuss. Sometimes we spend hours troubleshooting a single connection issue, but that’s just the nature of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our work happens out at the customer's site or sitting at our workbench with a soldering iron. It’s a steady way to make a living and we like the technical challenges that pop up every day.
