Suman Mata Ji Jagran Party

We spend most of our time at T-54/O near the Meerut University area. It is right by the City Bus Stand and the railway colony station. The place gets quite busy with people coming and going from the university all day. We started this Jagran party because we know the local traditions here in Meerut well. Most days involve checking our sound systems or talking to families who want to organize a prayer night. Our instruments take up a lot of space in the room. You can hear the city buses pulling into the stand from our window. Sometimes the traffic near the railway colony makes it hard to move our gear around. It’s a lot of physical work, loading up speakers and making sure the lights work properly. We have been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood is familiar to us. We just focus on getting to the venue on time and making sure the singing starts when it should. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. People around here know where to find us if they need a Jagran done for their home or a community hall. We usually drink tea from the stall near the station while waiting for clients. The weather in Meerut gets really hot, so we try to do the heavy lifting early in the morning. It's a simple life centered around these religious events and keeping the tradition going in our corner of the city.
