Shree Krishan Kripa Sankirtan Mandal

Shree Krishan Kripa Sankirtan Mandal is located at 443/7 in Jagriti Vihar, Meerut. This is a residential part of the city, so it’s usually fairly calm around our building. We have been part of the Jagriti Vihar community for many years. Our place is where we gather to organize our singing and religious events. It isn't a business in the traditional sense. It’s more of a group of people who come together because we enjoy the sankirtan and the spiritual side of things. The office space is simple with some mats on the floor and pictures of deities on the walls. We spend a lot of time talking to local families who want us to come and perform at their homes or local temples. Meerut has a lot of tradition, and we try to keep that going in our own small way. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or to ask about the next gathering. We don't have a marketing team or anything polished like that. We just write things down in a register and make phone calls to coordinate everyone. On the weekends, it gets quite lively with people coming in and out. The street outside is narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if too many people arrive at once. We like the peacefulness of this neighborhood. It feels like home to us and everyone knows where to find the mandal.
