Shark Auto Parts is at No. 258 Shahpir Gate. If you come by, you’ll see shelves full of metal parts and boxes. It’s a bit dark inside because the shop is deep and narrow. We’ve been here for years. My uncle started it and now we all help out. We know where every bolt and gear is, even if it looks messy to anyone else. We don't have a fancy computer system. We mostly just remember where things are or look in the old paper ledgers. It’s greasy work. Your hands are never really clean here. We spend a lot of time talking to mechanics who come in looking for something specific for an old car. We don't have a waiting area. People just stand by the counter and wait. The street outside is always full of bikes and pedestrians. Shahpir Gate is a busy place. We like the energy. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we have what they need. We close up when the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay a bit later if a friend stops by to chat. It’s a simple business. We don't try to be the biggest. We just want to be the place people can rely on when their car breaks down. The shop smells like oil and old iron. We have a small stool behind the counter that everyone fights over because it's the only one.
