Shagun Catters

You can find us at 291/9 on RTO Road in Shastri Nagar. We are tucked in near the Awas Vikas area of Meerut. Shagun Catters is basically a group of people who love feeding others. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or loading up trucks with big metal containers. It is hot work and your hands always smell like onions or garam masala, but that is just how it is. We started out small and stayed that way for a bit, just helping out neighbors. Now we go all over Meerut for different functions. RTO Road is usually busy, so we are always dodging traffic when we try to move the equipment. It is not always pretty. Sometimes we run out of something or a burner doesn't light right away, and we have to scramble. But we always figure it out because people are waiting for their dinner. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you will probably see us checking the grocery lists or cleaning the big pots. We take it one day at a time here in Shastri Nagar. It is a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in where they can. If we aren't at the shop, we are probably at some wedding hall setting up the buffet tables or carrying crates. That is the life of a caterer in a place like Meerut. It is long hours but we are used to it.
