If you go to Lalkurti in Meerut, you’ll find us at 127. We are right near the Shiv Mandir in Jamun Mohalla. It’s a very old part of town with narrow lanes and lots of history. Jai Bhawani Musical Group is what we do. It’s mostly about the music and the instruments we keep in the shop. The room is often full of the smell of old wood and some incense from the temple nearby. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. People just hear about us through word of mouth or see us when they go to the mandir. It’s a noisy place, especially during festival times when everyone is out on the streets of Lalkurti. We spend our days practicing or just fixing up the gear we use. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in Jamun Mohalla for a long time. The building is old, and the walls could probably use a bit of paint, but it works for us. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just the group sitting together, planning our next performance or just talking about music. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way because it feels real and fits the neighborhood. Sometimes we sit out front and just watch the people go by the temple. Music is just part of our life, and this little corner of Meerut is where we choose to stay.
