Jagdamba Kirtan Mandali

Jagdamba Kirtan Mandali is based at 76/2, Kailashpuri in Meerut. The area is also known as Rajendra Nagar Kailashpuri and the pin code is 250001. We aren't a business in the way most people think of them. We are just a group that comes together for kirtans and bhajan programs. Our place in Kailashpuri is where we store our dhols and harmoniums and where we meet to talk about upcoming programs. It’s a very simple setup, nothing like a corporate office. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals other than just doing our kirtan properly. We have been part of the Meerut community for many years, and most of the families around Rajendra Nagar know who we are. We don't do any real advertising. Usually, someone just calls us because they heard us at a neighbor’s house or at a local temple. It is very much a local, community-based thing. The space we have is humble and we like it that way. It’s not about being polished or professional in a corporate sense; it’s about the music and the gathering. If you are in the Kailashpuri neighborhood, you might hear us practicing sometimes. We are just a group of people who enjoy what we do and we keep things straightforward. There’s no need for fancy talk when you are just doing kirtan. That is pretty much all there is to know about us.
