Chitra Exports

Chitra Exports is situated right on W. K. Road at number 2. It is a familiar spot for those of us who have worked in this neighborhood for years. The building is older, but it has a solid feel to it. We do not have a massive staff, just a few dedicated people who know the export business inside and out. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordinating with local makers and then figuring out the best way to get those goods across the border. It is not always a smooth process, especially when there are delays at the port or issues with the paperwork, but we have learned to deal with those hiccups as they come. The office inside is mostly filled with samples of what we send out and a lot of filing cabinets. We prefer to keep things simple and direct. There isn't a lot of noise here unless the phones are ringing off the hook. W. K. Road is usually packed with cars and people, so it is a bit of a relief to step inside our workspace where it is a bit calmer. We have seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we have managed to stick around by just focusing on the work at hand. It is an honest way to make a living, and we take some pride in seeing our boxes loaded up and sent away on time.
