Arvind Kumar Jain runs things from the first floor of Deep Complex in Meerut. Being in the 250001 area means we are right in the thick of the city. Deep Complex is a familiar spot for most people living around here. It is not a brand new building, but it serves us well. Usually, the day starts with opening up the office and getting the files ready. Since we are on the first floor, it is not too many stairs to climb, which is nice when you are carrying things. Meerut is a busy place, and this area is no exception. We spend a lot of time just dealing with the usual day-to-day stuff that comes across the desk. There is no big flashy sign or anything, just the name on the door and us inside working. People often stop by because they are already in the complex for other things. We have set up the space to be functional. It is a bit lived-in, but that is how a real office should feel when people actually work there every day. The windows look out toward the street, and you can hear the city moving all day long. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders, we just focus on the actual work. It is a straightforward way of doing things. Being in Meerut for this long, you get to know the rhythm of the place and how things go.
