Sanjeev Jain

This is Sanjeev Jain and I run my business over at K-13 on Mawana Rd. We are right in Ganga Nagar, which is a busy part of Meerut. Being so close to the Iimt Engg College means we see a lot of students every single day. They are usually in a hurry or complaining about their exams. My place isn't anything grand. It’s just a spot near the college where people stop by. Meerut - 250001 is where I’ve spent most of my life. I know the people around here and they know me. I try to keep things simple. Dealing with the college crowd keeps me on my toes because they always want things fast. The shop is on the main Mawana Rd, so it’s easy to find but the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. I handle most of the stuff alone or with one helper. It’s not a corporate office or a big fancy store. Just a local shop for the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back. Life in Ganga Nagar is like that. I started this because I wanted to work for myself. It’s been a few years now and I’m still at it. Nothing too special, just a regular day-to-day business that keeps me occupied from morning until the evening when the college shuts.
