Our place is at 21/A in the Industrial Park over at Tsiic Iala. It is a busy part of town with a lot of different factories and workshops all crammed together. Astra Advanced Materials sounds like a very big fancy name, but really it is just a group of us working with different types of chemicals and raw substances all day long. It gets pretty hot in the summer inside the park, and the air always feels a bit heavy. We have to wear specific gear sometimes depending on what we are mixing or moving on the floor, which is not always comfortable, but you get used to it after a week. The whole area is always humming with the sound of generators and trucks moving in and out of the gates. We have been at this specific spot for some time now. It is not the kind of place you would come to for a tour or anything, it is just a working site. There is usually some wooden crates sitting out front waiting for a driver to pick them up. We keep the shop floor as clean as we can, but in an industrial park like this, dust and grit are just part of the deal. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break area we set up in the back corner. Sometimes we talk about the work, but mostly it is just about local news or cricket. It is a decent place to work if you do not mind a bit of noise.
