Ariyyan Agrigenetics Private Limited is located at house number 1-67 on Pochamma Temple Road in Athvelly. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of life on the street, especially during festivals or mornings when people are heading to pray. We work out of this Medchal location, focusing on the genetics of the crops that farmers grow around here. It sounds a bit technical, but really, we are just people looking at how to make plants grow a bit better. The office is a modest setup with basic furniture and a lot of notebooks. We spend hours looking at data and talking to people in the fields. It isn’t a glamorous job, and we often have dirt on our shoes from visiting the nearby plots. We don’t bother with big marketing slogans or trying to sound more important than we are. We just take the science seriously and try to be helpful to the local agriculture scene. The building itself is older, and sometimes the power fluctuates, which makes it hard to keep the computers running, but we find ways to get the work done. It is a local effort, and we feel connected to the land around us. We are just here every day, trying to understand the plants and helping out where we can without making a big fuss about it. We just keep at it and see how things grow.
