Our whole setup is split between two different places. The corporate office is in Hyderabad, over in the Erraggada area. It is on the 3rd floor of Hetero House, in the C-Wing. It is a busy office where we do all the administrative work and the boring planning. Then we have the factory side of things. That is located out in Karkapatla Village, which is in the Mulugu Mandal of Medak District. It is quite a bit of a trek to get out there to Plot No. 23 in Phase III of the Biotech Park. The factory is where the real production happens. It is much quieter out there than in the middle of Hyderabad city. We have people working in the labs and on the production floor all day. Managing two different locations means there is always a lot of communication going back and forth between us. Sometimes things get a little lost in translation between the main office and the factory staff. We deal with a lot of regulations and heavy paperwork because we are in the pharma business. It is a serious kind of work, but we are just regular people trying to get the batches out on time. We worry about things like electricity costs and transport delays. It is a lot of logistics to handle. Some days are spent entirely in the car moving between the two sites.
