Som Phytopharma (India) Limited is tucked away at 154 / A5 in the Svcie, Ida area. It is more of an industrial spot than anything else. We focus on the pharma side of things, specifically with plant-based components. The facility is mostly functional. We have labs and storage areas that take up most of the room. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a fancy lounge for visitors. We have a small area near the entrance with a couple of chairs and a table with some old magazines. Most of our day is spent making sure the batches are right and the quality is where it needs to be. The Ida area is always buzzing with the sound of other small factories and workshops nearby. You get used to the noise of the forklifts and the delivery vans. We’ve got a handful of people working here who have been in the industry for decades. They know the machines inside out. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people who need what we make already know where to find us. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to change the world overnight; we are just making sure the pharma supplies we produce are consistent and ready for the next step in the chain. We keep the paperwork tidy and the floors clean, and that keeps the inspectors happy and the work flowing.
