Nalanda Junior College is located at H No:23-133 in the R.C Puram area of Medak. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here, but once you see the building, you’ll know it. We have students coming in for their higher secondary years, so everyone is a bit older and a bit more serious about their books. The building isn’t new, and it has that lived-in feel that comes with years of students passing through the corridors. You’ll often see groups of teenagers standing near the entrance talking about their upcoming exams or just hanging out during their breaks. The rooms are filled with rows of benches and the usual whiteboards or chalkboards. It’s a pretty straightforward place without any unnecessary bells and whistles. We have a small office where all the paperwork gets handled, and it’s usually piled high with forms and registers. The neighborhood of R.C Puram is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels like a community. People know us as the local college where the older kids go after they finish high school. It can get a bit hectic during admission time, but otherwise, it’s just the daily grind of lectures and study halls. We keep the gates open during the day and close up once the evening classes are done. It’s just how we operate here in Medak, focusing on the day-to-day work of running a college.
