Baindla Raghuraamulu

I am Baindla Raghuraamulu, and you can find me at H No 3-14 in Rayapole Village, Doultabad. My actual line of activity is transport hiring services, which basically means I spend most of my time dealing with vehicles and drivers. It’s a small operation run out of my house in the district of Telangana. The yard is usually dusty, and there is often a vehicle parked there getting its oil changed or a tire fixed. Transport is a tough business because you are always worrying about the state of the roads, the price of diesel, and whether the drivers will show up on time. I spend a lot of my day on the phone coordinating where the trucks need to go and making sure the loads are secured properly. Rayapole is a quiet place, but my phone never really stops ringing. The office part of my house is just a chair, a table, and a lot of logbooks where I keep track of the trips. It isn’t a polished business with a logo on the wall; it’s just a bunch of vehicles and people trying to move goods from one place to another. Sometimes the weather makes the roads difficult and we have to delay things, which is just part of the job. I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s a lot of long hours and dusty work, but it keeps the family going.
