Govt. High School Nalladai

Govt. High School Nalladai is situated right on the Main Road in the Nalladai area of Nagapattinam. Since we are a government school, we serve a lot of the families living in the surrounding villages and the town itself. The location on the main road means there is always a bit of noise from the traffic, but we have all gotten used to it over the years. Our building is not new, and it has the kind of wear and tear you would expect from a place that sees hundreds of students every day. We do not have any promotional budgets or fancy equipment. The focus here is purely on the high school curriculum and helping the boys and girls pass their final exams. The teachers work hard to keep the classrooms organized, though it can be a challenge when the weather is very hot or when we are short on supplies. The playground is just a patch of land where the kids run around during their lunch break. It is a very simple, honest environment. We do not try to be anything other than a local school doing its job for the community. Most of our students come from humble backgrounds, and we take pride in seeing them work hard at their books. It is a steady, daily grind, but it is important work for the people of Nalladai and Nagapattinam.
