We are located at D-10 in the Kiocl Township, which is in Kavur, Mangalore. The pin code is 575 015. This place is a bit different because it’s a whole township area dedicated to the work we do. It’s a bit quieter than the main city of Mangalore but there’s still plenty going on to keep us busy. We handle a lot of industrial processes related to iron ore and pellets. The township has been around for a long time and many of us live and work right here which makes life easier. It feels like a small community where everyone knows everyone else’s business. The office is just a standard building where we keep the records and manage the daily operations of the site. It isn't very modern but it serves its purpose for us. We have a lot of machinery and large-scale equipment around the main site which can be quite impressive to see. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checks and balances to make sure things are running right. We don't go in for anything flashy or try to be something we aren't. We just make sure the production is moving and the township is running okay for everyone. Mangalore’s humid weather is something we are all used to by now and we don't complain. We take our breaks together and talk about the work or what’s happening.
