Kalptaru Steel

Kalptaru Steel sits right across from the old Vaishali Cinema on Bunder Road. It is a noisy spot because of the traffic and the sound of metal hitting metal. We deal with all kinds of steel, from long rods to flat sheets that we keep stacked in the back. The building is older, and you can tell it has seen a lot of use over the years. We don't bother with painting the walls every year or having a fancy reception. It is just a place to buy steel and get it cut to the size you need. The dust from the road comes in through the big front opening, so everything has a thin layer of grit on it. We spend our days measuring twice and cutting once. Sometimes the cinema crowd gets a bit loud, but we are usually too busy with the cranes and the trucks to notice. We have been on Old Bunder Road for a long time, and we like the grit of it. It is not the kind of work for people who don't like getting their hands dirty. We just take the orders, load the trucks, and keep the business moving one day at a time. It is practical and tough, just like the material we sell.
