Sarathi Travels

Our office is tucked away in the Plaza Complex, right over near the Bendoorwell Junction. If you know that area, you know how hectic it can get with all the buses and cars merging through the intersection. We are at No.16-1-25/52, which sounds complicated on paper but is easy to find once you are in the building. Sarathi Travels is a small operation. We have a couple of desks, some old calendars on the wall, and a lot of keys hanging up behind the counter. It’s mostly just the sound of phones ringing and drivers coming in to report back after a long trip. We spend a lot of time looking at maps or checking the clocks. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to coordinate where the vehicles need to go and who is driving them. Bendoorwell is a good spot for us because it's central, even if the noise from the junction never really stops. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next booking to come through. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the weather or the road conditions up north. Other days, it’s a total scramble to get everyone where they need to be. We just take it as it comes. It's a bit of a messy business sometimes, dealing with traffic and delays, but we’ve been doing it a while now.
