Master Of Ceremony

I’m based out of Mangalore, specifically in the BC Road area near Kupradi. If you’re coming from the Loretto Church side, you’ll find us pretty easily. My work as a Master of Ceremony keeps me moving around quite a bit, so I’m not always sitting in the office. This part of Mangalore is fairly busy, and being near the church means there’s always some event or gathering happening close by. Being an MC isn’t just about standing on a stage with a microphone. It’s actually a lot of waiting around, checking the speakers, and making sure the schedule for the wedding or the party doesn't fall apart. I spend a lot of time on the road, going from one venue to another across the district. When I am at the office, it’s mostly just for planning and taking calls. The building here is simple, just a place to keep my gear and do some prep work. I don't like to make things sound more complicated than they are. I just show up, try to keep the crowd entertained, and make sure the hosts can relax a bit. It’s a lot of pressure sometimes because if the mic stops working or I forget a name, it’s on me. But I’ve been doing this for a while, and you just learn to handle the glitches that happen during live shows. It’s a decent living and I get to meet a lot of different people.
