Akash Chemicals

We are situated in Ayesha Palace on KS Rao Road. This is right in the Hampankatta area, which everyone knows is the heart of the city. Being in a place like Ayesha Palace means we are surrounded by all sorts of other businesses. It gets very loud during the day with all the shoppers and buses going by outside. Our space is mostly taken up by desks and some samples of the chemicals we deal with. It isn't a very big office, but it’s enough for our small team to operate. We’ve been here at Akash Chemicals for some time now. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, and the elevator can be slow when it’s busy, so we usually just walk up. We handle the orders and talk to suppliers most of the day. It’s a lot of phone calls and typing. We aren't a big multi-national company; we are just a local business trying to keep things running smoothly. Hampankatta is a convenient place to be because everything is close by. We usually get our tea from a guy who comes around with a flask in the afternoon. It’s a very standard office life. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just work on the chemical side of things and go home. The view from the window is just the busy street.
