Dishes Restaurants is situated in the Unnatha Residency on the Manipal Main Road. We are quite close to Syndicate Circle, which is a very busy part of Manipal. Since we are in Udupi, we get a lot of students from the nearby colleges and people working in the offices around here. It’s a fast-paced area, so we try to keep up with that energy. The restaurant is on the ground floor, so it’s easy to just walk in from the street. We don’t have any polished corporate rules; we just try to be helpful and get the food on the table. Manipal is always full of young people, which keeps the atmosphere lively even on slow days. We have a mix of different tables and chairs that don't always match, but they are comfortable enough for a meal. The kitchen can get a bit frantic during the lunch hour because everyone is in a rush to get back to class or work. We mostly just focus on the daily tasks like ordering supplies and making sure the place is clean. It’s a simple operation run by a small group of us who live nearby. Being near Syndicate Circle means there is always traffic and noise outside, but that’s just part of being on the Main Road. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local eating house for the people here in the Unnatha Residency building.
