Sri Laxmi Narsimha Engineering Works

We’ve been here in Ramnagar for quite a long time now. People usually find us easily enough because we’re right in Mavala. It gets pretty loud in the shop most days with all the machines running and the guys shouting over the noise to get things sorted. I usually get in early to open up the shutters and see what work is left over from yesterday. Engineering isn't always clean work, so there's always a bit of grease and metal scraps on the floor that need sweeping. Most of the folks who come to us are locals who know my face. We don't have fancy office chairs or a big reception area, just a desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage somehow with a generator or just wait it out. You’ll mostly find me sitting near the front if I'm not in the back checking on a job. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going. The neighbors often drop by for a quick chat or to borrow a tool when they are in a bind. We just try to get the work out the door on time so people can get back to what they were doing with their own business. It's not a complicated setup here, just us doing what we know how to do every single day of the week. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we take a short tea break when the sun is at its highest point.
