Mahmood Engineering Works

Mahmood Engineering Works is located at H. No. 3-1-297/13/2 in the Tirpally area. If you happen to walk by our place, you’ll probably hear the loud sound of metal being cut or the constant sizzle of a welding torch. We do a whole lot of iron work here, like making gates, window grills, and fixing up old pieces of farm machinery. The floor of the shop is usually covered in little metal scraps and iron filings that we have to sweep up later. It’s a very noisy place to be, and we wear our protective masks most of the day because of all the sparks flying around. We’ve been doing this type of work for many years in this neighborhood. People bring in broken metal parts from their own shops or ask us to custom make something for their new house construction. We don't have a big sales team or a front desk, just a couple of us who know how to handle the torch and the heavy hammer. It’s very hot work, especially during the summer months when the heat from the molten metal adds to the heat of the sun outside. We try to keep our tools organized on the wall, but they often end up scattered around the workbench. Sometimes a specific job takes much longer than we originally thought if the metal is being stubborn. We just do the work that comes in and try to make sure everything is sturdy.
