Shree Dashmesh Rolls Pvt. Ltd. is out in Village Ratolan, right off Dhuri Road. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it out here. We make rolls for various industrial uses, and our workshop is a big part of the local scene in the village. The air is a bit cleaner than in the city, though the dust from the road still finds its way inside. We have several large lathes and grinders that we use to get the rolls just right. It is a specialized kind of work that takes some patience. Our workers are mostly local guys from Ratolan or nearby areas who have learned the trade over many years. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning. We just have a small corner with a desk and some old chairs where we handle the paperwork. Most of the day, we are out by the machines, checking the finish on a piece of steel. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the grinders. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People know we are here on Dhuri Road if they need something made or fixed. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure we don't make mistakes that waste material. It is just us and our machines doing what we know how to do.
