Chilled Rolls

We are located at Jai Bharat Casting, which is unit C-85 in the Industrial Estate. The name of the business is Chilled Rolls, and we’ve been working out of this shed for quite a while. The environment is exactly what you would expect from a casting place. It’s hot, there’s a lot of dust, and the machines make a constant thumping sound. We don’t have a lobby with magazines or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you have to shout a bit over the noise if you want to be heard. We work with heavy metal and large rolls, so it’s physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day. The Industrial Estate is full of places like ours, all tucked into these numbered sheds. We know our spot at C-85 very well. Every scratch on the floor and every dent in the walls has a story, mostly involving something heavy being moved. We aren't here to impress anyone with how the place looks. We are here to get the rolls ready and keep the casting process going. It’s a gritty job and we don’t mind it. Some days are better than others, especially when the machines are running smooth. We take our breaks when we can and try to stay ahead of the schedule. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just focus on the task in front of us without any extra fuss.
