You’ll find Prince Food Products tucked away near the Truck Union in Deshmesh Nagar. Being so close to the trucks is actually pretty handy, even if it means the road outside is always a bit dusty and loud with all the heavy engines rumbling past. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We deal with food products, which means there’s always something being weighed, bagged, or loaded onto a tempo. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You won’t find anyone wearing fancy suits here; we’re usually in our work clothes, making sure the quality of what we’re packing is up to the mark. The office is small and mostly used for keeping the ledger books and taking orders over the landline. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We know most of the drivers who come by, and there’s always a bit of talk about the roads or the weather while they wait for their loads. We don’t do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. People around here just know us for the food we put out. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down. We just try to make sure everything that leaves our gate is something we’d be happy to have on our own table at home.
