Aryan Rice Mills

Out here in Village Dulladi, we run Aryan Rice Mills. It is situated right on the Malerkotla Road, so it is easy enough to find if you are looking for the place. We spend a lot of time watching the sky and hoping the rain stays away during the drying phase. The yard is usually full of paddy during the colder months. It is a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We are not some giant factory or a polished corporation. Just a local mill doing what needs to be done for the farmers around this part of Dulladi. The machines make a lot of noise, but it is a sound we have gotten used to over the years. We keep a small office in the front, but mostly we are out back where the actual work happens. The floor stays covered in husks no matter how much we try to keep it tidy. It is a tough job sometimes, standing on your feet all day and moving those heavy bags around. We try to keep things organized, but when the trucks start lining up on Malerkotla Road, it gets a little chaotic. Everyone wants their grain processed at the same time. We just take it one load at a time. It is a decent living, and we know most of the people who come through our gates. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know us from being here so long. It is just how things work in the village.
