SHANKUS GROUP

We are located out on the Ahmedabad-Mahesana Highway at the Shankus Water Park Campus in Amipura. It’s a big area to keep track of, so we’re usually moving around from one spot to another. Most of our day is spent making sure the pumps are running and the grounds look decent. It gets very busy here, especially when the weather is hot and everyone wants to be near the water. We have a small office, but we aren't in it much because there’s always something that needs fixing outside. You’ll see us in our work shirts, probably carrying some tools or checking on the machinery. The highway noise is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a while. We have a lot of different things going on at once, from handling deliveries to checking the filters. It’s not a quiet desk job, that’s for sure. We eat our lunch whenever we can find a spare twenty minutes. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the concrete, which makes for a long afternoon. We’ve been part of this campus for a long time and we know every pipe and valve in the place. It’s just about keeping the whole operation moving so everything stays operational. We don’t do much talking; we just stay busy with the daily chores that come with a place this size. It’s hard work, but we take it one day at a time.
