Maqdum Ali

I am Maqdum Ali and my place is over in Shatavanacolony in Narayanpet. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city centers but we like it that way. This part of Mahabubnager has a different pace of life. We are at house number 4-8-75/15 and have been for a while. The pin code is 509 210 if you are looking it up on a map. There isn't any fancy signage outside to tell you what we do. People around here just know us by name. We handle the local work that needs doing without making much of a scene. The office is just a room with some basic stuff in it. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well. It gets dusty during the dry season and the roads aren't always the best, but we manage just fine. We don't use any of those big marketing words you hear on the television. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors because they usually are. Working here feels natural. We don't have a boss in a suit telling us what to do every five minutes. We just see what needs to be finished and we do it. It’s an honest way to spend the day and it keeps us busy enough. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s not, but that’s just life. We are happy with how things are and we plan to stay right here.
